My system is:
EVGA 780i 3x sli PCI-E2.0 motherboard
4gb DDR2 memory
Intel Q6600 @ 3.0Ghz (Over clocked from 1066 to 1333 FSB)
EVGA 9800 GX2
Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Extreme Gamer
Zalman water cooling tower (forgot model number) for the CPU
Vista Ultimate @ 64-bit

....
I have never over clocked a GPU in my entire life. I unscrewed all the
screws,
but could not get inside the GPU.
I's it possible to lessen the heat from these things? (for over
clocking purposes)

I wouldn't bother overclocking the GX2 for what little performance gain you
would get. I have a couple of 8800 GTX Superclocked EVGA cards in SLI and I
find very little gain and sometimes even loosing some points in benchmarks
like 3DMark06. Nvidia has really stepped up their cooling solutions and even
though I do watercool my Q6600 I don't even bother with the GPUs since they
do a very good job and are virtually silent.
