Upgrade??

Please log in for more thread options components and I've been left to put it together but it just wont work. AN8 Ultra brings on fans and LEDs but stops at 9.0. on the onboard LED. I havet time and patience with this set-up. The Manual gives no indication of the error in question. I have a Gigabyte Triton K8N Sli mobo on this PC but do I want to replace it with a more overclocker friendly mobo or do i go the full hog and go for a Core2 Dual system. It's a lot more expensive but will the gains be worth it. S939 or Core2 Dual. I can see s939 x2 chips but the prices are going through the roof because of demand and no supply.
