hi all,

I am having a problem with usb on my athlon 640 gigabyte SLI motherboard.
All the USBs are usb2 yet when I plug in my skype phone it tells me it will
perform faster connected to a usb2 port. I tried to then install the usb
drivers from the giga-byte site but still no joy.

Any ideas ?

David

The USB2 drivers should be on the disk you got with your Mboard. Mind you I
had trouble finding them on my Gb KT400. Have a good look Dave.
Also check in device manager, (USB update drivers). best wishes..J

Dave. The USB2 drivers should be on that disk as well, but they might be in
another folder. Open the CD and examine the folder contents. as I said
before,
I had trouble installing the USB2 stuff. Keep trying pal, we never give up.
