I've had my PC for years and not bothered about using headphones with
it but now the time has come.

The thing is there is no obvious way of using headphones because there
is no dedicated socket on my Audigy 2...There is nothing on the front
of my tower either. Now I know the Sockets on the DVD drives only play
sound streamed from the DVD in the drive so am I supposed to unplug
one of my 5.1 to plug in my earphones at the back?

Is it recommended to get a splitter or something?

Cheers,

Craig

Or you could get USB headphones.

Is there a headphone socket anywhere on your 5.1 system? Check back of
amp/subwoofer.

Mike.

Many speakers have a jack for headphones, that when used disables the
speakers. Do you have such speakers? If not, that might be a solution.
