Please log in for more thread options is there a male 3.5" internal power cable with additional female 3.5" connectors? so far I've seen are the variations on the y-power splitters. 5.25" male - two 5.25" female 5.25" male - one 3.5" female, one 5.25" female 5.25" male - two 3.5" female 5.25" male - one 5.25" female 5.25" male - one 3.5" female reason I'm interested in the 3.5" male-female power cable is that I recently got a SIIG usb port bay hub. Its design unfortanelty places the 3.5" power connector half way in the usb bay. this makes it difficult to insert one 3.5" power cable from the power supply to the usb bay. Part of the problem is due to the AT case design. If I hook the 3.5" cable to the usb bay, I can't push it back up front. I could, however, get a 5.25 male - 3.5" female cable and a 5.25" male - two 5.25" female cable. I'd like to avoid having to go thru this route. I want to keep cable clutter to the minimum possible.

Please log in for more thread options Why don't you just cut the leads to the connector you wish to use (with power off, of course!) and splice in an additional length? Soldering the connections does the best job, but twisting the stripped wires together is sufficient. Do a good job of taping the splices in either case.
