two prong x10 plug-in filter?

I have found that my laptop power supply sucks up x10 signals. My desktop computer does a little, but it's workable. Both of these devices are plugged into the same powerstrip that is then plugged into a three prong to two prong adapter that is plugged into a two prong AC outlet. (ugly, but it is what it is.)

Does anyone make a two prong plug-in filter? Would plugging the powerstrip into a filter, then into the adapter then into the AC outlet work? It would lose the extra ground, but does it really need it?

If needed I could run some zip cord from the ground prong to a nearby waterpipe.

Help make my ugly situation beautiful! Or at least workable... :-)

Thanks, Gern
