I'm looking for a relay for a roof exhaust fan. Currently it uses a 400V DC & 16A
line. I want to put a timer but I need a relay to switch the fan on/off.

When the load is that big you need a contactor, a super sized relay.

What is different in a contactor vs. relay? Don't they accomplish the same job?

great.
