I am trying to find software (freeware/shareware) that will take a contact closure from an external device (such as a gas/smoke detector, door switch, glass breakage sensor, fire sensor, etc.) connected via one of the PC's COM ports and/or USB port and then dial a pre-programmed telephone number and play a WAV file. Anyone know of such a program? Thank you.
