Sure, just use an appliance module with it and plug the modem's power supply into it. I've been doing that for years because the modem is in the garage and I don't want to have to walk across the house to pull the plug.
like this?
I have a x-10 appliance module connected to my DSL router's power cord. There was a time a few months back, that the connection would go bad every couple days, so with a script, I power off the router and then power it on again in the middle of the night. The downtime is only a minute or so, but I know that the network will be back in a day if I'm out of town.
That'll do it!
Thanks everyone! I ordered it.
