Please log in for more thread options We are a metal working factory. We have a need to measure the ambient air temperature at approximately 33 locations in our facility. We would like to be able to access this information from the front office. (The 33 points we need to measure are out in the plant). Can this be done over a network or something? Any help would be appreciated! | ||||||||||||||||

Please log in for more thread options the sensors? If yes then there are quite a few ways, RS485 can be daisy chained to quite a distance (depending on conditions 4000'). I'm working on a similar project and you can view the Cricket schematics at www.myblueroom.com Also for short runs <300' total you could use 2 wire (data & gnd) iButtons / 1wire devices www.ibutton.com As for wireless you might google zigbee or zwave thermostats .
