print sharing

Please log in for more thread options network and is using the USB port. I also have a W98 machine connected to my home network and I want to share the printer connected to the XP machine with it. I have set the printer on the XP machine to share. On the w98 machine I went to the printers tab and clicked the add printers tab. I pointed the add printer to the XP machine by providing the rout and the printer name. Everything seems fine. The printer shows up as a net work printer on the w98 machine. The problem is then when I send a print job from the w98 machine the printer never tries to print. Everything looks normal the printer shows up in the tray and when clicked it shows a job is printing. But the printer is not printing. Printer prints fine from the XP machine. File sharing between the two machines works fine. Got ant ideas? | |||||||||||||
