Hiya folks

I am been told my problem looks like my hardrive is SHORTING

everytime i connect it to a computer it causes the puter to IMMEDIATLY
within seconds
close down , doesnt even get to bios report

Now the harddisk aint essential in any wway but there is stuff on it I would
like to
get off it so does anybody know a cheap place in UK that will replace the
electronics
on it ... i am working on the presumtion here that the data aint actually
damaged but may
be wildy wrong there so feel free to correct me

its a magnetic data technologies hard disk and they are 6 screws on it so it
may be
feasible to open and attempt repair ?

throw some thoughts on it guys

PAUL
