acer laptop hd replacement parts

Please log in for more thread options drive. I have since picked up a 60gig toshiba hd for it but have since found out that Acer laptops had internal enclosures and adapter plugs (Acer has a blade/sleeve plug instead of 40 pin) for the harddrive. You are supposed to remove and use on new hd but I dont have old so stuck. Wondering if shops would carry such things or am I stuck with finding scraped parts or direct from Acer. thanks James | ||||||||||
