No, any wide screen content will use the entire screen. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

True, though some TVs also have more options like zooming the picture so it crops off the top and bottom in order to fill the sides (instead of having black bars), or to deform it by stretching instead of zooming. If only they came up with a good way to get rid of those channel logos in the corner of the screen, cropping loses too much of the picture if source is 4:3, IMO. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
