Please log in for more thread options video card off the motherboard this entire time but i wanted to improve the graphics just a tiny bit so i put a geforce 4000 in it. i installed the drivers. now that video card works until the desktop comes up then i have to move it back to the motherboard to see anything. anybody know why? do i have to disable the motherboard video or what? if so how? thanks | ||||||||||||||||

Please log in for more thread options wrote: Usually it does it automatically but anything is possible. And your board is really old. There might be a jumper or maybe you have to set it in bios. Most come with the a initialize onboard or PCI /AGP video first type of thing in bios which you can set on screen. | ||||||||||||||||
