USB Print server advice

Please log in for more thread options Linksys router (BEFSR41). The printer is USB (Epson Stylus R200). One of my computers (laptop) recently had Pointsec security installed on it and will no longer allow me to access the printer (shared from the other computer). I'm told this is by design. I'm looking for suggestions. | |||||||||||||

Please log in for more thread options First, review your company's policy on using company laptops for personal use. Then, if you really want to cause some excitement in your career, take this question up with the IT department that locked out USB with Pointsec to prevent you from downloading company secrets to your flash drive or to share with another computer for like reasons. I'm sure that IT will listen to your argument that you are trustworthy. Q | |||||||||||||
