Please log in for more thread options I ran a blog search and for some reason I ran into a Forum that has every post we post on this group. For example this thread I started a week ago if featured on this forum. Link to my thread on Google Groups "alt.comp.hardware" http://groups.google.com/group/alt.comp.hardware/browse_thread/thread/cc7533b605c899a1 This is the link to the Forum I'm telling you about http://forums.myispfinder.org/showthread.php?p=238435#post238435 ------------------------- Isn't that odd? How can the things we post on Google Group get posted on that non-google forum automatically without us being members of such forum? I'm sorry for posting this here but I just needed to bring this to the light. I was looking for a way to contact good via the Google Group section, but I didn't find any.

This just emphasizes that GOOGLE IS NOT USENET. Google is a flawed interface to a much bigger and better entity. Googles technical incompetence in this area is causing a major nuisance. That other forum is another interface, of unknown quality. The proper interface is to get a real newsreader and connect to a real news server. -- "If you want to post a followup via groups.google.com, don't use the broken "Reply" link at the bottom of the article. Click on "show options" at the top of the article, then click on the "Reply" at the bottom of the article headers." - Keith Thompson More details at: <http://cfaj.freeshell.org/google/>

They just copy it, essentially, and the posts go out into usenet. IMO, it's a bit of a waste of resources for dubious reasons but so long as they respect usenet conventions it shouldn't matter.

Please log in for more thread options Relax
You need to accept he fact that once posted to the internet in (almost) any form your: thoughts, images, opinions, etc. become public domain. I f you can't accept this then cancel your account with your ISP and stay away, but remember, this is what makes the usenets work. > I know this is off topic but it really got my attention.
