One problem with a microwave that plugs directly into an automotive lighter socket instead of a power inverter is that a typical lighter outlet may be limited in many cars to around 10A, so they'd have a design target that doesn't exceed this... which at 12V if it were 100% efficient (which it can't be) is only a 120W microwave, quite underpowered by microwave standards. | ||||||||||||||||
