Please log in for more thread options Anyone seen a 2.5" 7200RPM SATA hard drive at a capacity greater than 200GB? I bought one of these drives last year at this time and I can't believe a year later such a beast can't be found. I'm not a very intuitive web searcher, perhaps that's what limiting me. -- Spin

Please log in for more thread options I'm doubting that you bought a > 200GB, 7200 RPM SATA, 2.5"
drive a year ago. 200GB appears to be the highest capacity
offered today and probably wasn't even available a year ago.

This is the one I bought. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145160 As the con in the review article suggested states, the formatted drive capacity is actually 186.4 GB; not 200GB as advertised. But it states 200 on the drive labeling and has been existing in my laptop since at least May/June of last year. I wish 5400RPM would give me the performance I need but it does not.
