Win XP pgm showing i/o stats w/dial-up modem w/NAT router?

or if not that, how about i/o stats on the Ethernet LAN? (in KBytes/time; not the useless packet count that the "Local Area Connection Stuatus" window gives)

fwiw, i'm using an inexpensive (~$80) 18 month old SMC NAT/firewall "broadband" router (SMC7008ABR) (it also permits using a dial-up modem, which is what i'm using with it at the moment)

it (the situation) is driving me nuts in that while it (the SMC router) offers both NAT and firewall benefits, i no longer have any detailed visibility of how much real data is going in/out of my computer during a 100+ GB day of downloading (9+ hours)

========

anyone know of a NAT/firewall router (under $500) that *does* provide an included monitoring program that shows this (above) data ?

thank you in advance, bill
