Watchguard Firebox/ Cisco 2600 router set up

Hi

A couple of our branch offices are set up using Netgear ADSL routers connected to a Watchguard Firebox and then a (dumb) switch. The Network Engineers are looking into implementing leased lines for these offices, and the ADSL routers will be replaced by Cisco 2611XM routers. The routers will be using EIGRP to connect to each other (all routers will be Cisco).

Does anyone have any experience of problems in having this Cisco router and a Firebox connected to each other?

Thanks!

Firebox works fine with cisco Routers but is will create issue with Cisco PIX as it detect PIX as intrusion and PIX vice versa and drops packets at there zone.

We've got around 30 Firebox units (various models) connected to PIX and other CISCO devices without any problems.

The biggest problem you have with CISCO is auto-negotiation. As far as the "router" goes, as long as you provide an ethernet connection for the WatchGuard to connect too, then you won't have a problem.
