Outer dia of fiber is same in multimode & single mode fiber i.e. 125 microns and also I am able insert the both fiber in to connecter, then shall use same connecters for multimode and single mode fiber connecterisation
Multimode tolerances (diameter, eccentricity, dome center) are typically wider so using MMF connectors for SMF conections can yield some lossy pairs. Be careful
