I am looking for a Harsh environment high temperature sensor.

Medium -  corrosive gas at combustor exit
Medium temperature - 1000-1200 deg C.

Can optical fiber sensors meet this requirement?

just google up sapphire optical fiber companies and start your journy
via telephone.  They are eager to find more and more applciations in
DoE, DoD, Universities, etc.
