Anyone have good suggestions for me? I got this new job at Haowave Cable helping people connect to fast networks through fiber optic cables. As a novice, I'm just learning more and more about fiber optic cables each day.
Where would I find people that might be interested in fiber optic cables?
What are popular fiber optic magazines?

The main trade magazine is Fiber Optic Product News. A good newbie book, although a bit dated, is Technician's Guide to Fiber Optics. A couple of good mid level texts are Fiber Optic Test and Measurement and Fundamentals of Photonics. These cover all things fiber not just cable.
