Please log in for more thread options colored SFPs/GBICs for the active components. My link budget is about 11.5 db after link loss, not including muxes. 8-wave de/muxes seem to cost <$1k per strand per end, with connectorized fibers(*). However, the cheapest 8-wave rack-mount mux I can find is $2500(**), and 8-channel de/muxes seem to cost $3500-$5000 per end (two strands). (*)http://www.oemarket.com/product_info.php?products_id=69722256 (**)http://www.telecomengineering.com/Hardware/Passive/CWDM/8channel-cwdm.htm Are 8-channel CWDM de/mux chassies anything more than just a pair of 8-wave mux modules, mounted into a fiber termination panel? | ||||||||||
