Best Way to Get Time Series of Optical Spectrum?

We have a situation where two sites are linked by SONET OC-48 optical cards, and the receiver on one end of the connection is tending to show one bit error every 15 minutes. We are going to bring an optical spectrum analyzer on site, and verify the shape of the curve at the receiver. I suspect we have a dispersion problem, as the loss budget for the link is not even close to being exceeded. In an attempt to better characterize this, I would like to get a time series graph of the dispersion on this link. What is the cheapest way to store a measurement every 15 seconds of the dispersion so that this can be graphed later? We can put a 90/10 splitter at the end with the errors, and the

10% signal would be available for data logging.
