Any recommendations for a laser diode capable of high-speed (>500MHz,
preferably >1GHz) modulation?

Wavelength should be around 650nm to 690nm, and a 5.6mm package. At
least 10mW output power, and more would be better.

Closest I've found so far is from ThorLabs, the Eudyna FLD6A2TK, but
that's only up to 300MHz. Probably the most flexibility is on the
wavelength, but it has to be visible light.

If what I want is beyond the current start-of-the-art, well, that would
be useful to know as well.
