need a bit more power (like 100 mW). I also need it to be polarization maintaining. I'll be running it saturated most of the time, so I don't much care about the flatness. Any suggestions for C/L band PM EDFAs? Thanks Phil Hobbs

Please log in for more thread options Hi Phil I've been doing some work recently with Gooch and Housego in Torquay, (formerly Sifam) http://www.sifamfo.com/ and they have done a lot of work in the enabling technologies for this type of product- polarisation maintaining WDMs, couplers etc, and may be able to help out. They have also done a bit of in house work on amplifiers etc. but I don't think they sell them at present as it may step on too many customers toes, but they may be able to tell you who can supply what you want or help you roll your own. The other company that I'm aware of that has some PM amplifiers is Keopsys http://www.keopsys.com/?page=home cheers David
