Hello,

I hit on terms 'data plane' and 'control plane', but hardly was able to find proper explanations. Could someone give me links on the technical literature or explain these? Thanks.

Hi Roman,

You can see the definitions in Y.2011 (10/04)

"Control plane: The set of functions that controls the operation of entities in the stratum or layer under consideration, plus the functions required to support this control"

Data plane ou user plane: The set of functions used to transfer data in the stratum or layer under consideration"

Best regards, Michelot
