What kind of tests do you want to do? Windows has PING, TRACERT, and
other commands to do basic tests. Plus, you can have Performance
Monitor installed (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/
aa939336.aspx) with Network Monitor (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/
933741). They both come free from Microsoft, usually as an optional
component to install in the operating system.
