Please log in for more thread options We don't want to use Ethereal to capture millions of lines. Is there a way to limit the capturing buffer size of Ethereal so we can capture certain lines, say 2000? Thanks, T. --

Please log in for more thread options Use the -c option of tethereal ... or if you use thw windoze version: click on "Capture" then "Start" and chose your limit. Either number of packets, megabytes or minutes. Arnold -- Arnold Nipper, AN45
