Please log in for more thread options The National Association of Broadcasters publishes an annual (well, mostly annual) Engineering Handbook. You can get a copy at the NAB Store online. But $$$. Doubtful your local library will have a copy, but a nearby engineering college might.? Google Search. Or, you can poke around the various websites relating to broadcasting. =46rom memory, (been a while since I was actively involved with broadcasting..), you can try: Broadcasting and Cable Radio World RadioMagOnline.com TVTechnology Doug Lung's RF Home Page (Possibly outdated, and was heavy on DTV last time I checked) Broadcast Electronics www.fcc.gov will have the channel plans / freq info. Don't forget: Many of the equip vendor websites will have tutorials on the technology. Especially the newer digital stuff. You'll ID the vendors through the above magazines / web site links. | ||||||||||||||||

Expect that each country with an agency that controls broadcasting will have a standard (or perhaps reference the standard of some other country). In the US, try the FCC. I gather you're in Taiwan, and imagine that the government there publishes a standard. For the FCC stuff, you might find this a useful start: http://www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bickel/amfmrule.html#FM I was able to find answers to your specific questions there fairly quickly.
