Please log in for more thread options I know this will sound stupid but I want to be sure that this doesnt blow up in my face (literaly). How do you make a simple circuit consisting of capascitors to increase the volatage in a 12v DC supply? Thanks | ||||

However, it's normally done with an inductor charging and then being disconnected from its supply, whereupon the voltage rises to the desired level and is tapped off. This is done thousands (millions?) of times a second for a smooth flow using transistor switching.
