Please log in for more thread options the right domain name and a lower revision number. The server mode switch is directly connected. The client side, a 3640 router, has just an ip address, and the server side, a 3550 switch is set to mode dynamic desirable. Why might be the problem? | |||||||||||||||||||

try setting trunk mode to non-neg int <>
switchport
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q switchport mode trunk switchport nonneg after reconfiguring switch port as a nonneg trunk port, post the output of show interface <> trunk
