telnet to a remote ASA

Hi there, I am not able to telnet to my remote 5505 wich I have sit-2-site VPN connection to and also I have proper telnet command setup at the remote ASA. I will get a blank screen when I try telnet to 1.1.2.1 from 1.1.1.0 network. it doesnt give me an error saying the connection failed or any error regarding port, but I also wont get a login prompt. Any idea how to troubleshoot this. Thanks in advance. Rob
