My setup:- cisco 837 -- dmz switch -- pix 501 -- lan switch
There are a few servers plugged into the dmz switch. From the lan I can send data using ftp & netbios to these servers at approx
50-60mbps. Some of the docs I have read indicate the pix501 can pass cleartext data at 60mbps so this sounds correct.However when copying data back from these servers to the lan the max I ever see is 10mbps. Is this because data from outside to inside is being inspected & this is dragging the throughput down? Is this usual behaviour or does it indicate a problem or misconfiguration?
