I have a 3620 with 2 NM-FE2W cards (dual fastethernet cards with 2 wic slots each) and I currently have it in a test setup with two (0/0 and
0/1) interfaces going to a switch (dumb dell powerconnect 2016 switch). When I boot the box all the lights light up that should be lit but when I do a "show int" it shows that the line protocol for the two test lines are down but the interfaces are up. After 20 to 21 minutes (consistantly) the line protocols pop up. There seems to be some error messages from previous boards that were in the slots, how do I clean this up?The equipment was bought used and I have inheritied from the past network admin. I'm a relative newbie on this. By the way other than the longish time for the FastEthernet Interfaces to come up the router seems to work fine.
