My q is the following. Suppose the connection betwwen 2 host is o.k. but the keepalives say it is not. Is that connection going to be terminated? Off course i do not know if that can actually happen,so my q is completely hypothetical.
Your question is a contradiction, if the keepalive fails, then the connection is terminated, assuming you are referring to a TCP connection and TCP keepalives.
