Depending on congestion on a frame relay network, the bandwidth which the interface gets can vary considerably - in theory, it should be as little as the Telco-negotiated CIR or nearly as much as the clock rate of the serial interface. On a frame-relay interface, it is possible to define a service policy (policy-map) with "bandwidth percent ..." or "priority percent ..." for the classes. Can you please tell me what bandwidth this refers to? It can't find any information on whether this bandwidth is
1) the clock rate bandwidth of the interface, or 2) the bandwidth statement on the interface (which in our case is set to the Telco CIR), or 3) the actual bandwidth that the frame-relay DLCI is able to obtain at that particular time interval? TIA- Godfrey
