default gateway for pc's connected to 2960???

Hai alll, iam lookin for default gateway for the pc's connected to 2960 switches.Which interface ip sud b used as default gateway?interface between 3750 and 2960 or interface between 3750(1st) and 3750(2nd)??? Hope it is clear wat i want it......

the set up is this way

3750(1st) ----------------!-------------------- ! ! ! ! 3750(2nd) 3750(2nd) ! ! 2960 2960 ! ! 2960 2960 AREA 1 (10 KM apart) AREA 2

Greetings

The 2960 is a layer 2 switch so the only IP it has is for its own management.. You want the IP on the LAYER 3 interface for the default Gatewway, which is probably ONE of the 2 x 3750's, depending on which mode (Layer 2 or Layer 3) their interfaces are working in.

Hai Peter, Thank u !can u explain me wen the interface between 3750(2nd) and

2960 act as switching and another 2 hosts are from diffrent subnet.does the 2 hosts with diff subnet sud be enabled ip routing?and how does the pc's connected in 2960 will speak to taht 2 hosts which are in diff subnet?? iam not sure...but wat i think is .....if the pc's need to speak to taht 2 hosts ...the interface between 2960 and 3750(2nd) sud be enabled for "ip routing"???Am i correct in my ideas??? if not please explain me in detail......
