Communication between hosts.

I have connected two hosts on my router in order to have access to the inernet. My q. is if with the router the 2 hosts(the one is connected wirellesly with the router) can communicate or i need a switch to do that?

The router is a USR9108

Provided they are addressed in the same network, and the router does not think they are on two different interfaces, then yes they should be able to communicate directly. Even if the router does think they are on two different segments, just make sure they know about each other (ie ensure routing is enabled).

I am also guessing you have NAT to the external world...to ensure both can connect externally without issues....
