Hi all,
just got my new linksys srw224 switch with poe (power over ethernet). Tried to hook up a couple of cisco 7960 phones, so that we could throw those *()!@JJ power-adapters away... But, the 7960's (not -G models) do not seem to work with the linksys :-((( I found out that I should cross 4and7 & 5and8 on the connected cable, tried it, but no luck :-((( Anybody has a clue for us ?

The following Cisco IP Phones have been tested by Linksys and are:
NOT COMPATIBLE
when connected to the SRW224P switch.
Because these Cisco IP Phone models are not IEEE 802.3af compliant:
7960 7940 7910 7912 7905 7902------------------------------------------------------------------
The following Cisco and Linksys One IP Phones have been tested by Linksys and are:
COMPATIBLE
when connected to the SRW224P switch.
Cisco IP Phones:
