Please log in for more thread options
i got a problem after i config the 2610 and then 'wr mem' or even i try 'copy run start' to save teh config. but everything is reset when i reload it. hardware problem? memory problem? IOS problem? pls advice, thanks. paul | |||||||||||||

Please log in for more thread options Yes, the 0x40 is causing the startup configuration in NVRAM to be
ignored. Setting the configuration register to 0x2102 should solve your problem. Please look at http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_fix/cis2500/2505/2500him/77108.htm for details about the bits in the configuration register.
