Cisco 1720 - DRAM and FLASH upgrade

Hi,

I have an 1720 router with 32MB DRAM and 8MB flash. I would like to upgrade router to max supported amount of DRAM and flash which is 48MB DRAM and 16MB flash. I would like to know where should I put the the extra 16MB DIMM module becasue the DIMM slot is already taken with 32MB DRAM?

I think your router 16 MB soldered on the M/B and 16 MB in the DIMM slot. If you take out the 16 MB and insert an 32 MB DIMM you'll get 48 MB RAM.
