CCNP Certification Question

Hi,

I am currently a CCNA and am looking to obtain my CCNP. I am also finishing up my Masters and am very busy. However, my CCNA 3 years ends in September. If I pass ONE of the four exams, will that reset my clock, thereby allowing me to finish my Masters then focus on the other three CCNP exams?
