Hi!
Do You know if there is a client for 64-bit Vista that could make a
IPSEC VPN to a old PIX runnix sw 6.35

Best regards

You could use the built in L2TP client in Vista. With the appropriate
configuration the PIX will support it.

I think on our 64-bit machine we ran a Virtual Machine on it and used the v5
Client.

Cisco isn't making a 64-bit IPsec VPN client for any platform. They
only support AnyConnect VPN on 64-bit Vista. (ie. SSL VPN supported on
the ASA boxes). You can tunnel a wide range of ports through SSL VPN,
but still...

I believe AnyConnect VPN will try to first connect via IPsec and then
attempt the connection via SSL if IPsec fails. However, as Doug
pointed out, it does not work on a PIX VPN. Cisco announced End of
Life for the PIX appliance last year...meaning it's time to fish out
more $$ to upgrade your Cisco equipment. If you're interested, we've
been using and have had a fabulous experience with an SSL VPN from
NeoAccel. They are a startup so not many people have heard of them.
http://www.neoaccel.com is their website.
