How big MAC address cache size support for Cisco

Depends on your SDM profile. I think the default is 8k. The 3750/3560 has
only a limited amount of CAM memory and must be allocated for mac addresses
(switching and multicast) and CEF tables (routing). The SDM profile adjusts
how much CAM memory is allocated for each of these purposes. The command
to see how CAM is allocated is something like "show sdm profile"

Thanks,
I'll check it on Monday. Today I test one port using Spirent
AST II on the 3750G. It is 4K for that port. I don't know
Cisco give one numner for switch or also has a limited
MAC size number for a single port.
Any comments?

on the smaller switches it is 1 table for the entire switch.

1 other thing to watch is there is not much buffer memory (2Mbyte for
all ports on a 24p 10/100 + 2 SFP unit) - we have some acting as "WAN
edge" routers for 10 and 100 Mbps Ethernet WAN, and tweaking the
buffers to handle GigE -> 10M has some compromises.
