Wireless AP

Here is the situation. We have a small network 192.168.1.X. We are not in= control of the router (AT&T is). What I would like to do is, somehow setu= p a wireless AP, so that it is routed straight to the internet, without tou= ching our network. Can it be done? Thanks, Ken
