Want to retake the Cisco Cert ?

Hi, all, I got the CCNA, CCNP and CCIE part I certificates before, and now they are expired. I want to retake the CCNP & CCVP certificates, do I have to retake CCNA or just directly go for the CCNP and CCVP exam ? Any exemption subjects between CCNP & CCVP ? Cheers

Hi, this information is from: cisco.com/go/certifications

"CCVP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any

642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam." The same is for CCNP.

Be careful because now there are specialized CCNA's for each CCxP. So, in order to stand for CCVP you will need the CCVP Prerequisites: CCNA Voice OR CCNA (until June 24, 2009).

More information you can find here: cisco.com/go/certifications. Enter the CCVP Section an you will find there the prerequisites.

It's EXTREMELY hard for me to believe that a CCIE wouldn't know how it works.
