I use VideoLAN VLC media player which takes 30 unicast video streams
coming from the outside and turns them into multicast streams within
my LAN. I would like to know if there's a cost-effective Cisco
solution that could do the same thing. Encoders in the outside send a
unicast stream to an internal server where VLC resides. VLC is then
configured to multicast these streams. I would like to replace VLC
with a hardware solution. Any ideas are appreciated.
